If you're sending US PediaSure or other kids' milk from the US to Vietnam, the most important steps are matching the product to the age on its label and checking with your child's pediatrician first. Three ground rules before you choose

- PediaSure Grow and Gain with Fiber, Vanilla lists 7 g protein, 32 mg DHA omega-3, antioxidants and 27 vitamins and minerals. It is gluten-free, kosher and halal, with no artificial growth hormones, and is labeled suitable for lactose intolerance. Note that lactose intolerance is not the same as a cow's milk protein allergy; if your child has allergies, ask the doctor first.
PediaSure Grow & Gain Non-GMO powder, 400 g
For a lighter box, choose the powder: PediaSure Grow and Gain Non-GMO Vanilla 400 g, Chocolate or Strawberry. It is a shake mix made by Abbott. Mix with the exact amounts of powder and water on the can, using clean water and utensils.
Orgain Kids 8g Protein organic shakes
For parents who prefer organic, the label on Orgain Kids lists 8 g of organic grass-fed protein, 22 vitamins and minerals and powders from 10 organic fruits and vegetables per 8 fl oz carton. It is USDA Organic with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, and the resealable cartons suit quick breakfasts and lunch boxes. Three flavors, 18 cartons each: Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.
Enfagrow Premium Toddler Stage 3 (1 year and up)
Enfagrow Premium Toddler Stage 3 is a milk-based toddler drink labeled for children 1 year and older, with a natural milk flavor plus omega-3 DHA and iron. The big 36.6 oz can (about 1.04 kg) is designed, per the manufacturer, to help fill nutrition gaps while a toddler's diet is changing. It is not infant formula.
Organic whole milk cartons for the whole family
- Horizon Organic Whole Milk: USDA Organic, kosher, Grade A, no preservatives.
- Kirkland Signature Organic Whole Milk: USDA Organic, with vitamin D.
